7 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari: Detailed Itinerary

 Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this first day of your safari, you will have breakfast and get ready to embark on the journey of the greatly endowed Bwindi which still protects half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Along the way you will make a stop at the equator take pictures s you stretch up . Then back on the road, you will make another stop in Mbarara town where you will have your lunch meal and head-on as you see the beautifully laid landscape along the way. You will then head far southwest to Bwindi you will reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Forest

Take your morning breakfast meal and ensure to leave the hotel with your packed lunch, we will provide you with drinking water .head to the information center for a mini briefing before you penetrate into the forest to search for the majestic apes. After the briefing, you will be led to the forest by the ranger guide to experience your gorilla track, utilize the one hour given to you when you find the animals by taking pictures and observing how these animals carry themselves around while in the forest. After the activity, you will head back to the hotel to freshen up then have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have early morning breakfast and lunch along the way ,then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park which is also known as the Medly of wanders ,you will see a lot of game while in this park inclusive of which you won’t miss the tree climbing lions in Ishsha sector, the lakes, other wildlife and birdlife, plus the plant cover. Drive on to the northern park where you will have dinner and overnight sleep.

Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 4: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park

Take a cup of coffee to warm up then head to the kasenyi tracks for a game drive as you search for the views of animals like the lions, cape buffalos, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, spotted hyenas, mongoose, kobs and, if you are lucky, the leopard is often spotted, you will view a variety of bird species too, then head back to have the real morning meal as you relax and wait on your next activity. Before leaving for the afternoon boat cruise you will have your lunch and then head to the kazinga channel to enjoy the fascinating boat cruise that is awesomely rewarding since the animals here can be watched at close range. Back to lodge dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth NP to Kibale National Park National Park 

7 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

Having had breakfast transfer to Kibale forest national park, have your lunch meal in fort portal town and the head for a cultural tour to Toro kingdom before you head to the park, after t you can then proceed to see the crater lakes and the finally get at the park for dinner and overnight at the Kyaninga Lodge or Ndali lodge as you wait to trek the following morning

Destination: Kibale National Park

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest

Take breakfast and head on to your trekking activity planned for the day in Kibale national park. You will have to be at the information Centre right on time to hear the dos and don’ts while in the forest. Then you will be let off to penetrate into the forest with ranger guides of course, while you search for the primates you will see more primates in the forest mostly the Lhoestes, grey-cheeked mangabeys, Red-colobus, Red-tailed, birds, and butterflies. These sway from tree to tree. When you find the chimps you will interact with them for strictly an hour and then head back to get to the lodge in time for lunch in case you have an interest in the afternoon engaged in the Bigodi swamp walk that also has a variety of bird species and primates too. Back to hotel dinner and rest up.

Day 7: Kibale National Park To Kampala

Bags all packed up ready to head for Kampala you will eat breakfast and check out of the hotel jump in the car and start your journey to Kampala with lunch en route, you will be in Kampala in the afternoon and head straight to the airport to catch you next flight back home thus the end of our safari.
